Eng. Milo Torres

Eng Milo Torres has been commissioned by British Business Group (BBG) as the official photographer to cover its events since February 2008. BBG has an average of 6 events in a month. Regular venues are Wafi Restaurants, World Trade Center, Fairmont Hotel and Mina A’ Salam among others. The photos are being published at “Britain in Business”, the magazine of the British Business Group in Dubai and Northern Emirates. The magazine is distributed in the UAE and the UK to a target readership which includes business decision makers, government officials, trade associations, chambers of commerce and major hotel business lounges.

Surprise Man (summer 2004) was Eng. Milo's first photography project with Dubai Duty Free. The icon (Surprise Man) was photographed in different positions, mood and angles to create varieties of expressions for use in life size posters and promotional items. The photo shoot was done at a huge studio with the presence of DDF's Marketing Manager as well as the Art Director of the promotional catalogue. Since then he was commissioned to shoot all products that are being promoted every season (winter, spring, summer and fall). There are about 70 to 100 products being shot for every promotional catalogue like perfumes, bags, toys, clothes, jewelries, cigars, cameras and mobile phones among others. Some of the required pictures are cut-outs (see picture at the right) in which Eng. Milo Torres carefully and precisely crafted in Photoshop. His latest project was done on May 2008 for DDF's summer 2008 promotion.

SKY Team is a team of international airline companies and now has 11 members namely: Air France, KLM, Al Italia, Aeroflot, Aero Mexico, China Southern, Czech, Continental, Delta, Korean and Northwest Airlines.

Eng. Milo Torres has been Sky Team’s regular photographer in Dubai since late 2003. They have around 3 to 4 corporate events every year in Dubai and in addition to that Eng. Milo Torres is being commissioned by some of its members for their own company events like Air France, KLM, Al Italia and Delta Airlines.

Eng. Milo Torres consistently creates websites for major big events managed by Etisal Event Management in Dubai. Among them are The First Nanometer Workshop Dubai Silicon Oasis (left image), First Medical Congress on Youth Extension, First Gulf Investment Forum (right image), and recently, Financial Brokerage Forum (Abu Dhabi). The last two have an arabic version too.
