STATEMENT
Dear Consulate/POLO/OWWA officials, Friends, Students
and Supporters,
I have been on the receiving end of a nasty email
dated 10th December 2007 from a bogus email
address fccdubaiuae@yahoo.com under Filipino
Computer Club name.
The content of the email was a FORGED “PUBLIC
APOLOGY” ostensibly issued by “ME”. It was
very evident and clearly manifested that I was the
subject of a mass “Mail out” campaign that dragged me
into an abusive unkind and unwanted interaction. The
culprit had evidently disgraced me in public. The
statements were results of personal anger, grudges and
envy, towards FCC and its leadership with a motive or
willingness to vex, harass or annoy.
I am also in receipt of other offensive and damaging
emails sent to various recipients attacking me
personally and FCC.
Theoretically, known/unknown recipients were able to
access the defamatory statements, and was viewed by
whoever has been privileged, or more so, whoever has
access (often unwilling participants).
Damages could therefore be very large, as forwarding
thru cc & bcc potentially reaches people globally. The
culprit had clearly demonstrated defamation wherein
he/she falsely hurled attacks on my name.
I believe that such a brazen disrespect and
questionable character who yearns to publicly humiliate
people is not warranted from a person who refused to
reveal his/her real identity.
I have been a public servant for the past 11 ˝ years,
served our compatriots in various means; significantly
the FCC under my leadership has undoubtedly trained more
than 15,000 Filipinos towards achieving computer
literacy. I made a lot of personal sacrifices and coped
with various disappointments and uncertainties in
achieving this task.
FCC's significant contribution to the Filipino
Community has been highlighted when POLO/OWWA Dubai was
voted twice in a row as the "Model Post" around the
world.
Recently, our club was awarded as "1st Runner up -
Best Community Services Award" from UK.
It is with deep sense of pride that I bring to you
this piece of good news. Indeed, FCC was selected from
among the other non-profit & community oriented
organizations across the globe.
As a community leader, I haven’t committed any severe
blunders that called for such derogatory remarks. The
objective, as I see it, was to lower my standing in the
eyes of the community. The evidence of malice was
clearly implied. It has exposed me and the Club to
public hatred, contempt or ridicule.
These kinds of issues were a clear indication of
libel and defamation, which I have taken to legal court.
All the necessary elements of libel for a court action
were clearly marked, and as such, libel action was
instituted so as to vindicate my tarnished reputation.
The following email addresses have been used in one
way or the other to carry out this massive, unjust and
malicious campaign. Proper legal measures have already
been carried out in this regard.

I truly hope that my just deed offers some stoppage
into this increasing activity and to divert the
intentions of anyone in the future, considering such a
dim-witted action.
I take this opportunity to thank all my friends,
students, supporters, friends from the media and my
family who have extended their love and concern at this
trying moment of my life.
To the Consulate/POLO/OWWA Dubai for the guidance,
wisdom and due respect they have relentlessly rendered
to me as the President of Filipino Computer Club.
More importantly, to our Almighty God for giving me
the gift of courage, strength & humility. May He
continue to deliver me from all the evil forces who seek
to ruin my noble cause.
With my dedication, commitment and forgiving heart,
with the unselfish devotion of my fellow volunteers, the
Filipino Computer Club under my leadership will continue
to make a difference in the lives of other people.
Let lawful justice takes its own course in due time
with Divine intervention.
