A Message From A Graduate

Good evening everyone,

I noticed that everything was presented in English so I had to scramble my speech at the last minute and change it all in English. Honestly I was not able to fully prepare for this because I was not feeling well. So this will be short but enough to share my experience with this web designing course.

Even at a young age I have always been a computer fanatic in every aspect of it. Most of my knowledge is self-studied. Like the same for web designing, I was able to make a website on my own by just experimenting the FrontPage web designing software.

I actually joined the web designing course by force. My mom wanted my younger brother to learn web designing but he refused to go on his own. So my mom said, “why don’t you just accompany him, you are into these kind of things anyway”. My first reaction was “why do I need to study basic html if I already know how to design”. Of course mama’s orders so I joined the class.

Never did I imagine after a couple of classes I just suddenly said, “ma, thank you so much for forcing me to join this course, I am really learning a lot”. I believe for any student to fully understand and gain knowledge of a subject, information in the book is not enough but the most important part is how it is being taught to you and I can honestly say Eng. Torres did an excellent good job in that. He made me realize that no matter how much advance knowledge you have, without fundamental information you cannot get far. A lot of questions that I had before he taught to us in just minutes and I was shock and said to myself “wow! that’s it, it’s that simple”. And after every class he would give a big smile and always ask “oh questions?” it is us the students who has nothing left to ask and also I don’t remember a question we asked that he was not able to answer.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Eng. Torres and everyone who has contributed in making this course possible. I really enjoyed and learned a lot. And of course my group Jon, Kim, Myco and my brother, I really enjoyed the rapport and I can say this is definitely an experience I will not forget. Thank you and God bless!
